My real estate career started in 1992 working as an office manager for a large residential real estate company in South Carolina. Upon moving back home to Virginia my real estate journey really took off on its own path.
I was hired by a Re/Max Company in Loudoun County as office staff. After a few years as office staff I decided I needed to be on the "other side of the desk" .So began my path to becoming a real estate agent, Realtor and Broker. I first earned my real estate agent license in 2000, joined DAAR around the same time to become a Realtor. I worked specifically with historic homes for many years in Loudoun County, Virginia.
In 2004 a chain of events lead me to the commercial side of real estate.
In the commercial field of real estate I worked specifically with developers in the condominium market of Loudoun County, with zoning, economic development and architects on behalf of the both the developer, and the purchasers/tenants.
In 2004, I earned my Brokers license in the state of Virginia, with West Virginia and Maryland following shortly after. Around 2007 I become partner of Lansdowne Real Estate Company, and the managing Broker. After 15 years with Lansdowne Real Estate I decided to open my own small personal real estate company were I can focus on clients needs at a more one on one basis.
One thing I have enjoyed all these years in various aspects of real estate is the people. I love taking the time to get to know my clients, their needs, and doing what it takes to help them be successful in their new real estate adventure. I have a vast network of experts in their fields to help with just about any need which may arise for my clients. Such as lending, home inspection, construction, well and septic, water systems and pest control issues, accounting and legal.
At this point in my career I enjoy taking the time that is needed for each real estate transaction, handling the small and large matters for busy clients. Being a small firm allows me that privilege!
